The Light is a good thing. When people are dying in comedy movies, they always joke and say I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Donkey even told Shrek to stay away from the light!
And now, as I listen to the trials and tribulations that many are going through, it’s hard to be in the tunnel. It’s dark and gloomy. It’s cold and lonely. I can’t help but believe the “t” in trials stands for tunnel. It’s a long tunnel of things that aren’t going your way.
But I just want someone to know that there is a Light at the end. There is always a Light. And contrary to popular belief, I think the best thing we can do is go towards the Light.
The Light is Jesus. Jesus is at the end of the tunnel. And any time you are walking towards Him, you are walking in the right direction.
John 8:12 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
