We’re hitting the books with Lovestruck by Sharon Jaynes. I must say, this in-depth description of the Song of Songs gave me a clearer understanding of this biblical book.

Exciting news! If you’ve been following Study this Book since it’s beginning, this year (2022) we’re on track to finish reading the entire Bible together.
Congratulations! We’re starting in Song of Songs for January.
I enjoy reading Bible commentaries on Song of Songs because it’s one of the books that you read and think, whoa, am I still reading the Bible? It’s quite the page turner in its content. I highly recommend biblical commentaries for more context purposes, and the beauty with today’s technology is that you can find them easily online.
With that said, I understand this (Study this Book social media platform, @studythisbook) is a platform created with the purpose of encouraging you to read the Bible itself. So most importantly, as we dive in this year, let’s first agree to intentionally seek revelation from the Holy Spirit about God’s Word. Then, if led to, pray for Him to send the most useful resources to help us understand more of His Word.
So, happy new year and happy reading. Let’s dive in!

Jan. 2 – 8: Song of Songs
