Illogical

When you are out of God’s will, nothing you do will make sense. It’s easy to be completely illogical.

John 12:10

Then the leading priests decided to kill Lazarus too, for it was because of him that many of the people had deserted them and believed in Jesus.

How does that make any sense to not only want to kill Jesus, but Lazarus too. Even if they killed Lazarus, that wasn’t going to change the fact that Jesus raised him from the dead. That wasn’t going to change the fact that Jesus could do it again.

It’s very easy to be illogical when you don’t understand God’s will. It’s very sad as well, because all God wants us to do is understand His will and His way and be obedient to it. Pride and selfish gain will always get in the way of God’s will. The leading priests were so caught up on the fact that people weren’t following them anymore, that they missed the whole reason as to why people weren’t.

A Savior had come!

When you think about it, honestly, who cares if people follow? They followed Jesus once, and look what they did to him…
